Refunds & Returns Policy

At Container Sales Australia, we aim to provide quality products and a fair, transparent returns process. This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

You may request a return or refund within 30 days if:

  • The item is faulty or has a major defect

  • The item is unsafe

  • The item is significantly different from the description or images provided

  • The item does not perform as advertised

Change of Mind

Change-of-mind refunds may be considered within 30 days, provided that:

  • The item has not been used, installed, modified, or damaged

  • The item is returned in the same condition as delivered

  • Any return transport costs are covered by the customer

Approval is at our discretion and may be subject to a restocking or transport fee.

Used Products

Used containers and equipment may show signs of normal wear and cosmetic marks. These do not qualify as faults and are not grounds for a refund.

Refund Processing Time

Once your return has been received and approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible

Non-Major Issues

If a fault is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time.
If the item cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Proof of Purchase

Valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required for all refund or return requests.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us before sending any items back and include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or supporting evidence where applicable

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Exclusions

This policy does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Delivery access issues or site placement conditions beyond our control
