Warranty Policy

At Container Sales Australia, we stand behind the quality of our products and comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This Warranty Policy explains the coverage and limitations applicable to our products.
Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty Coverage
New products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Used products are sold in working condition and are covered only by the guarantees required under Australian Consumer Law.
What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers:
Structural defects present at the time of delivery
Manufacturing faults affecting normal use
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic marks, dents, rust, or paint imperfections consistent with new or used condition
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorised modifications, or lack of maintenance
Damage caused after delivery, including site conditions, weather exposure, or relocation
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, you must:
Notify us within the applicable warranty period
Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
Provide clear photos or supporting information where requested
We will assess the claim and determine whether a repair, replacement, or refund is appropriate in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Repairs & Resolution
If a fault is considered minor, we will repair the item within a reasonable timeframe.
If the fault is major and cannot be reasonably repaired, you may choose a replacement or refund.
Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Limitation
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
